    If you gotta do business then you should not just rely on some friends advice, you should first do your homework properly. Check few things;
    - Are you good at cars inspection
    - Are you good in valuating car prices
    - Are you aware of the types of car auctions
    - Are you aware about the reputed car auction companies
    - Are you planning to apply for a car dealership
    - Have you ever attended a car auction
    - How many times have you attended car auctions and what have you observed

    you do not have to reply me but reply to yourself as it’s your money you invest and time you spend.

    Coming to buying salvage cars to resell them then you will not make much profit as you gotta first repair it and get a certificate before you can put in the market and it’s not that easy.

    Participate only in those auctions that are carried out by reputed car auction companies.
    I am from UK and here the best car auction company is Manheim car auctions. I heard they do have auction centres in US (if you are from USA, do google manheim toronto).

    just in case if you are a non-techy or not sure how to find here is the link http://www2.manheim.com/locations/TAA/events

    Remember, as you are not a dealer you can still attend open auctions, open auctions are open to all so anyone can participate in them. Attend some auctions as a spectator and learn the process before you actually start bidding.

    Hope this helps
