can someone who is liscensed to go to car auctions bring someone with them?

I was looking to buy a car and i was wondering if i knew someone who had a license to go to car auctions,would they be able to bring me so i could find a car that i wanted?

    Yes but they have to register you as a driver to get you in.

    It happens. although the dealer can get in trouble, barred or whatever if they know its happening. So you go as a driver, not as a retail buyer. You don’t bring your wife, your daughter, your Edmund’s used car guide and make it obvious.

    And now days many auctions wants everyone on the premises registered with a name tag.

    Many years ago I took a few people but I got to such a fixture and every auction every week by myself that I didn’t want to risk it for a few hundred dollars. That’s what I charged the few times I did it. one guy, charged, and got $500 or 10%, whichever is greater.
