James Corbett uses remnants of old cars of the 1950s and ’60s. This is the man that converts scrapped parts of cars into sculptures worth thousands of dollars. The 46-year-old Australian artist James Corbett creates these sculptures using salvaged old car parts. One of the pieces, a ram made from spark plugs, sold for a whopping 000! His sculptures are made of gears, spark plugs, exhausts, radiators, anything that the artist can salvage. i made a trip to a salvage yard to look for seats for a 1969 barracuda and while i was there,i took alot of pics of cars and some trucks.lots of dodges and mopars and alot of chevy cars too. not many fords or foreign cars though. most of these are for sale and for parts.most cars are still restoreable. i did get permission to go there so i didnt trespass or break in. the yellow cuda in the warehouse was my favorite one. if you like anything please comment and ill give you some contact info.. the yard is in nacogdoches,tx. PS the place is heavily secured so dont think of breaking in or you will get caught. the feed mill in the background is still in business and its very busy and 18 wheelers use the gravel road that im parked on quite often (the red 1986 chevy is my daily driver and is for sale in the deep east texas craigslist.)

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a car from a local police auction. It was unbelievably in pretty good shape it just needed a good detailing and maybe a tuneup. Unfortunately, an hour after I bought it, someone hit the car from behind while it was parked outside my home. I went to the DMV to register it. They told me that the previous owner had written a bad check in the amount of $ 391, told me that as the new owner I would be responsible for $ 191of that and to bring the registration current would be another $ 250. In the meantime, the car was totaled and the guy that hit has no insurance. I still need a car. I do feel comfortable riding myself and my small children around in a salvaged vehicle. I cannot afford to buy another car and spend almost $ 450 to register a car I don’t plan to use. Is it possible to junk this car without the title.?
