i have searched multiple sites on the internet, and salvage cars are very expensive. i know their not trust worthy but can a body shop owner and someone with experience get these cars at auctions dirt cheap than what we see on the internet such as ebay and stuff?

if they have a dealers license that gives them access to all types of goodies. when purchasing a car CHECK THE TITLE TO SEE IF ITS A RECONSTRUCTED VEHICLE

Yeah they can get them cheaper at the insurance and salvage auctions that are only open to dealers. You have to have a dealer’s license to go to one. Buying salvage cars isn’t really a good idea though because they need major repairs and you won’t be able to get full coverage insurance.

You can make money buying these. You may have to get a state auto broker’s license to bid at the auctions. Otherwise you can buy them directly from the insurance company that declared the car to be “totaled”. They do sell them to mechanics. The new owner can not get collision coverage on insurance but they don’t care because of the cheap price..
